Col Hinds grew up in Durango, CO, but fell in love with art while traveling around the world. His passion for art has taken him from Barcelona, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, to living currently back in Durango. An avid artist from a young age, he was inspired by Monet, Matisse, and Renoir paintings he saw in museums. His preferred media include pastels, oil painting, charcoal, watercolor, and printmaking. On most days, he can be found at local coffee shops working on his art in public.
